Space Dance in Bangkok 2010
OPENSPACE and Tokyo Space Dance will hold "T H I S A B L E, Bangkok Space Dance 2010" together with dancers, artists, architects, designers, information designers and other needed collaborators at the several locations, university, gallery, museum, experimental theatre, and at the other festivals."Space Dance in the Tubing" is an exhibition for the kids & the adults, and a workshop & a performance for the art & science with a new communication based on the body to get the awareness about the familiar relationship between the body and the space.
This project will explore a new story of our human sensitivity and the sensuality of our existence through the interactions that we have with ourselves in the tube-space. So this project is useful not only for the artistic world but also for the education, the communication, the experience of art & science, the new rehabilitation, developing a health for general public.2006 in Monaco, at "UNESCO Prize for Digital Arts", this project was selected as "20 Project in the World". 2007-2008, "Science Agora” at National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation in Tokyo, a Primary School with 440 students, it was the talk of the town and TV news. So, we will start to hold “Space Dance in the Tubing” in Tokyo, Bangkok, Istanbul, Kampala, Paris, and New York in 2009-2010, then in the world.
For this project we would like to find the several collaborators, directors and curators, together with the departments from dance, architecture, design, information, film, sound, costume; and also scientists, technicians, researchers, editors, journalists in each city, for this challenging project.
